Be examined by financial regulators and hold significant Errors and Omissions Insurance coverage to protect their clients*

*Unlike an individual trustee, a corporate trustee carries a financial institution bond as well as Errors and Omissions Insurance in order to protect trust assets. Obtaining a trustee bond may not be possible for some individuals based on their financial history, professional credentials, and significant cost to the trust.
