Business Development Officer
Aynsley joined the business development team at Capital First Trust Company in 2017. In her role, she works closely with trust attorneys, plaintiff attorneys and settlement planners to create trust plans that protect personal injury victim’s settlements through Settlement Preservation Trusts and Special Needs Trusts. During this process she meets with plaintiff attorneys and their clients to discuss the ways a trust can add value to their case. She specializes in relationship management by providing personalized service to all parties involved in the settlement process and ensures each beneficiary’s smooth transition to trust administration.
Aynsley graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She worked as a paralegal in New Orleans before deciding to attend law school at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. While in law school, she clerked for a plaintiff attorney who was a part of a Multidistrict Litigation pursuing claims related to formaldehyde exposure in FEMA trailers. After law school, she worked in the Deepwater Horizon Claims Center reviewing claims related the BP oil spill.
She has extensive experience working with plaintiff attorneys and personal injury victims and understands the challenges that can arise during the settlement process. Her goal is to provide support and trust expertise to attorneys and personal injury victims during the settlement process, and to implement a comprehensive post-litigation plan.
Aynsley is active in her adopted hometown of New Orleans and is a member of a Women Who Build team raising money and building homes for Habitat for Humanity. She also volunteers for Tulane University and conducts interviews with prospective students.
