Kathy Eimer has a BBA in Accounting from UW-Whitewater and an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University. Kathy has worked at several companies in various accounting positions working her way up to management levels when she became the head of a fiduciary organization for a private family in 2005.
It was in her capacity as the President of the private fiduciary organization that she managed around 100 family trusts and personal investment accounts. While in this capacity she worked with investment advisors, accountants, and lawyers on behalf of the clients of the fiduciary organization. As the main contact for the clients of the organization, she performed the day to day administration of the trusts, cash management tasks, tax return review and prepared all documentation necessary for audits by the Wisconsin Banking Commission and outside audit firms.
In December 2015, Kathy joined Capital First Trust Company as a Trust Officer, specializing in trust accounts which feature an advisor directed trust arrangement with clients’ Investment Advisors.
Kathy is also a Wisconsin Notary Public. Outside of work she is a member of the Friends of Lapham Peak. She volunteers with this group in the parks nature center and has consulted with them regarding their non-profit accounting.
